Started collaborative research with Hamamatsu University School of Medicine on “Automated Planning for Prostate Cancer in Radiotherapy”.

“AiRato”and Hamamatsu University School of Medicine have started a joint research project on “Automated Planning for Prostate Cancer in Radiotherapy” in April 2025.
Research Content and Objectives
In this study, we will develop a technology that can automatically create radiotherapy plans on CT images by analyzing the distribution of radiotherapy plans for prostate cancer patients who have undergone radiotherapy at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine. In the future, we aim for social implementation of AI-assisted radiotherapy planning software.
Research Characteristics and Prospects
AiRato’s proprietary AI analyzes a variety of radiological images by multiplying them together, and through joint research on this AI technology with Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, which has top-class clinical data and clinical knowledge of prostate cancer in Japan, we aim to develop an automated treatment planning AI for radiotherapy that can be truly used in clinical practice. We aim to develop an automated treatment planning AI for radiotherapy that can be truly utilized in clinical practice.
