AiRato Wins the Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy Award at the 25th Japan Venture Awards！

AiRato Inc. , (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture;Co-CEOs: Yuto Kimura and Noriyuki Kadoya) which develops and commercializes AI-based radiation therapy treatment planning support software, is pleased to announce that it received the Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy Award at the 25th Japan Venture Awards, held on December 18, 2025.

The 25th Japan Venture Awards, organized by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (SME Support, JAPAN), recognize highly motivated startup entrepreneurs and promising venture capitalists who are engaged in innovative businesses with strong growth potential or initiatives aimed at solving social challenges.

AiRato is developing AI-based radiation therapy treatment planning support software that brings innovation to radiation therapy, one of the three major cancer treatment modalities alongside surgery and drug therapy. Focusing on the most critical process that significantly impacts treatment outcomes—treatment planning—AiRato has succeeded in reducing the time required to create radiation therapy treatment plans from more than six hours to approximately 30 minutes through the use of AI, achieving both standardization and improved efficiency in treatment planning.

This technology simultaneously reduces the workload of healthcare professionals and enhances treatment accuracy, contributing to an environment in which cancer patients can receive appropriate treatment more quickly.
