AiRato Selected as Finalist for the 2025 Award for Academic Startups

Airato is AiRato Inc. has been selected as a finalist for the “Award for Academic Startups 2025”, hosted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).An award ceremony announcing the winners, including the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, will be held as follows:

Venue: Tokyo Big Sight, West Hall 4, Main Seminar Venue

The award ceremony will be held as part of “Innovation Japan 2025 – University Fair.”

About the Award for Academic Startups

Launched in 2014, the Award for Academic Startups recognizes outstanding university-based startups that have commercialized research and development outcomes and are expected to achieve significant future success. The award also honors the universities and companies that have contributed significantly to their growth.

This initiative aims to further promote entrepreneurship based on university R&D achievements, as well as bold efforts taken after startup launch, and to encourage greater support from universities and industry.
